About the Author

Frank Cerabino grew up in Long Island, New York, graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1977 and spent five years as a Naval officer before getting a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. After working for a news wire service in Chicago, Cerabino spent five years as a reporter at The Miami Herald before coming to The Palm Beach Post in 1989. Cerabino became a local news columnist for the Post two years later. Over the past 24 years, Cerabino’s column has won numerous awards, and his two series of comic novels – Shady Palms and Pelican Park – have been serialized in the newspaper. Cerabino writes five columns a week for the Post, blogs and posts commentaries on Twitter at @FranklyFlorida. He is married, has three children and lives in Boca Raton.
